try platopus flosser
The answer could be yes or no; it freshly depends on you. I had braces so I know that it is perfectly possible to not hold anything bad happen to your teeth when you hold braces and do not floss. The doctor would constantly tell me that my oral care be not up to expectations; but even what I was doing was ample (although after 6 months or so I did get better). I also brushed a lot throughout the time and I did not eat or drink anything that sweet (candy, soda, etc.). Soda and candies are the worst thing to put away when you have braces because it puts layers of bitter carbohydrates on your teeth that can give you cavities. I did not own any of that just because I do not like it so I deduce this is the reason why I did not "have to floss".
To know for sure, you enjoy to do an experiment. From now until you see your orthodontist again, keep your brushing up to standards; but do not floss and do not tolerate sweets build up on your teeth. Your orthodontist will be able to tell if you enjoy not been flossing (there will be plaque in between your teeth; cause by not enough brushing or eating too oodles sweets).
I think braces are just a hassle to concord with as I had to live through almost 30 months next to them.

So yes, you have need of to floss, especially with braces. You can try using a Waterpik, but make sure that you are using correctly. If you aren't you will do more wound than good. Source(s): 30 yrs as a dental assistant/office manager
I've had braces and I know how much of a hassle it is to take perfectionism of your teeth! You should at least try to floss every other day and hold up with the mouthwash.

Yes! It's best to floss.
I have braces and i dont floss to often because its time consuming and i newly hate it. I try to floss at least a few times a month. Its great if you can do it everyday but surrounded by reality a lot of ppl near braces dont. Do whats best for you.
Good luck
