Does it hurt getting braces past its sell-by date?

I am 15 and have had braces for 4 long dreadful years. I am gonna draw from em off August 17 and Im scared...I hear it doesnt hurt, but still, im a moment or two scared lol
Answers:
it doesn't hurt, but it feels for a while funky when they pop them off. Make sure they scrap bad as much of the adhesive as possible so your teeth aren't ghritty and icky.
it doesn't hurt one bit! it might surface weird when they take sour your brackets because they kind of have to snap them sour, but don't stress over it! :) just think almost how pretty your teeth will look when they're off! if it makes you quality any better, just think you're getting your telecommunication changed instead of getting your braces off! that's what happened to me. my dentist didn't even transmit me that i was getting them off so i assumed i be getting a wire changed, then i hear some kind of snap and i was confused. i be like "you're taking them off?!" and next i started crying. haha. trueee story.
nope ur teeth be aware of like plaque is all over it though
Had braces twice contained by my life.
it doesnt hurt at adjectives, u just hear them cutting the wires and they verbs them off ur teeth and u will be like wtfbbq is it already over?
haha woooo! congrats!
i just got mine of finishing month!

it doesn't hurt one bit.
but you will feel a little unnatural
& think you loook like your teeth are huge.

hahaha but they are not its in recent times your not used to it!
(:
Here's The Procedure

1. They take a tool.....and snap off adjectives the brackets, which doesn't not hurt at all.
2. They use a tool to take rotten the bands in the vertebrae... which is some what painful, not so much....
3. Then they use the drill to clean the paste on each tooth, which is so annoying because I hate drills..
4. They bequeath you your retainer ( Which is annoying because the first couple of days you might gag or drool a lot and it hard to talk)

The Procedure is really fast.... :D Source(s): Got My Braces off in June
Like the other guys are saying, you're teeth will only just feel gross. It will take time getting used to (just approaching when you got them on). It's no big deal.

Congrats after those four years! *thumbs up*
Getting all of your braces past its sell-by date literally takes under one minute (top and bottom). You simply feel a little pressure and consequently they're off.

What hurts is when they start scraping rotten the cement. It feels like they're going to scrabble your tooth off! Also, sometimes they get up contained by your gums with the tool, which hurts.

Another thing that be more annoying than painful was when they have to polish my teeth to remove any excess cement. It hurt because they had constant cold air on my teeth and your teeth are impressively cold sensitive once you get your braces off.
nope it doesnt hurt you might consistency a little pressure but its not bad. Source(s): have braces 3 times
you will discern a little pull. but within the end when all the braces are past its sell-by date your mouth feel soo different and relieved
sorta. i mean your teeth are going to be senstive for a few days but it isn't painful.
urm probably, u shouldn't worry
NOPE! it feels chance without braces though
when i get mine off all my friends be scaring me and joking around adage how painful it is :\
It really isn't at all.. no anguish whatsoever!

Basically they will cut the wires between the brackets then use a plyers to pull the brackets rotten.. no pain just weird and wonderful noises and pressure against your teeth

getting the glue bad your teeth is the oddest part.. it tickles your teeth, that was strange ha ha

good luck! don't worry roughly it.. its completely painless :)
nope..
It doesn't hurt but your teeth will look gross for a while.
OMFG ITS HURTS LIKE HELL BE SCARED YOUR GUNA DIE.
