I'm getting my braces taken off in in the region of a month; When I got my braces put on it didn't hurt, but the whole memory is adjectives confusing because I feel asleep waiting for them and I woke up when they were doing my teeth, lol. It didn't hurt when I get them on, I just drooled a lot. My friend told me it hurts getting them taken sour...and my orth. is a little NOT gentle. When he is pulling on my teeth hes pulling up my integral body, it hurts. Anyways, does it hurt? And also does it hurt getting your teeth pulled? I just HATE HATE HATE HATE shots...shots period. I'm anxious for that as well, but if you could help me out...that would show a lot. Thanks. :)

Getting them off hurt slightly for me
It didn't hurt the actual taking bad part, but the polishing of the glue I found discomfited and a bit sore
However, you're mostly thinking about how you're going to look without them, so you grasp through it

When I got my braces stale, it didn't hurt at all, but my ortho was really lenient. They'll probably put a retainer on your top and bottom teeth (which I suggest). If not, they will give you retainers that you can take out and put surrounded by. Honestly, it all depends on the person doing your teeth. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I know they brand you go brush your teeth right after taking them off and scrape your teeth of that glue stuff. Honestly scraping your teeth is the worst part of the pack and it isn't that bad. They take this instrument type point to get all that gum off. It feels unnatural but it's just your teeth. You can feel it but it doesn't hurt.
About the shots. I've never have a tooth pulled but I have had copious shots in my mouth getting cavities chock-full when I was younger. They aren't bad. It's over until that time you know it. My dentist always said "Hold on" and by the time I realized it, the shot be over.
Don't worry. You'll be fine! And it's wonderful having your braces stale, but it will feel weird for a while.
