After I brush my teeth, phlegm?

Whenever I brush my teeth/tongue, I always have to resembling hack phlegm.
It makes my breath smell really bad, does anyone know why I do this or do they do it too? Any tips to capture me to stop?
Answers:
i do that also. After brushing your teeth, spit out everything, then use a mouthwash or re-brush your teeth after wards. If this still happen, then I think you could ask your doctor or dentist something like what's happening and if there is anything that you can do to prevent it from taking place again. Hope this helps!
