Should i mouthwash previously or after flossing?

Especially since i just started flossing again and my gums are kind of sensitive right immediately, i mouthwashed after flossing last night (like an hour subsequently when my gums were kind of inflated) and i feel like it helped verbs out all that area, but im not sure if its better to mouthwash up to that time or after flossing, im guessing after, but i usually have about an hour between the two :)

Thanks :D
